My aunt and uncles house blew up. My cousin was inside. He had 3rd degree burns so badly that the doctors had to cut 90% of his skin off, to the muscle. He has a 1% chance of survival. Please, pray, please..

Bitter Sweet Weekend
Yesterday, I witnessed two people who couldn’t be more perfect for each other and who I love very much unite as one in marriage in such a God-filled wedding.
At the same time, I received the news of a friend’s life ending.
New lives starting and young lives ending.

The News Coverage of Hannah
It makes me so mad because of the way they make the accident sound. I know media’s goal is to grab your attention but I find their use of words and inflection and tone is rather insensitive towards family and friends. I understand getting the news out about it but it sounds to me that to the news, it’s just another story to get watchers.

The swelling in her brain is very severe. The doctor apparently said that it is the worst case of brain swelling that he has ever seen. She is in a coma.
The doctor’s have said that she has no medical hope. 1 percent medical hope. The swelling is too severe, and they don’t have the ability to fix the problem.

I beg all of you to please continue praying. I stand by my last post where I said that I refuse to believe her time is up.
I haven’t spoken to God in what feels like ages. Today, this accident forced me into talking to Him.

Update on the prayer request.
My friend, Hannah, was shot in the back of the head this morning at church when someone in an adjacent room to her was showing off their gun and accidently shot it. She is alive and still breathing but she needs prayer for physical healing. Her family and the church need prayer very much so as well.
UPDATE: she’s in surgery right now.
